Zorbing Ball

Khajjiar Lake in Khajjiar is one of the few places in India where zorbing activity is conducted. This unique and interesting adventure sport involves getting into a huge transparent ball. The ball is then rolled down a smooth hill slope or on the water surface. Zorbing is one of the best things to do in Khajjiar and the best part is that it is set amidst a very picturesque landscape. The idea of rolling down a lush, green landscape—right into the picture-perfect lake in the middle of the valley—all wrapped up in a distended plastic capsule seemed oddly appealing to this bunch of twenty-year olds. Here, you roll across the gently sloping basin and into the water. You can opt for a solo zorbing experience, or do it in a group – tumble down the hill sides, and roll over the water – and scream your lungs while at it! Stay harnessed inside the elastic ball, encased in another ball and remember not to eat too much before stepping in.
